Optimize Healing. Reduce Pain. Improve Outcomes.

Many foot and ankle conditions—especially diabetes, wounds, and chronic pain—are directly influenced by nutrition and metabolic health.

At Valley Foot & Ankle Institute, we integrate medical nutrition therapy directly into your treatment plan to improve healing, reduce complications, and support long-term outcomes.

Why Nutrition Is Essential for Foot & Ankle Health

Nutrition directly affects how your body heals, responds to treatment, and prevents future complications.

  • Poor blood sugar control increases the risk of neuropathy and foot ulcers
  • Inadequate protein and nutrients delay wound healing
  • Excess weight increases mechanical stress on the feet and joints
  • Chronic inflammation contributes to persistent pain and degeneration

For many patients, addressing these factors is a key part of achieving lasting improvement—not just temporary relief.
