Your Appointment
Medical History Review
Your provider will begin by reviewing your medical history, current symptoms, and any prior treatments you have tried. The more detail you can share, the better we can tailor your care.
Physical Examination
Your provider will perform a thorough examination of your foot and ankle, evaluating range of motion, strength, alignment, skin condition, and circulation as appropriate.
Imaging if Needed
In some cases, X-rays or other imaging may be taken during your visit to get a clearer picture of what is happening beneath the surface.
Your Diagnosis and Treatment Plan
Your provider will explain what they find in plain language — no confusing medical jargon. You will leave with a clear understanding of your diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.
There is no pressure to commit to any treatment on the spot. At Valley Foot & Ankle Institute, we believe in shared decision-making, and your questions are always welcome.

After Your Visit
Follow-Up Care
Depending on your condition, your provider may recommend a follow-up appointment to monitor your progress or adjust your treatment plan.
Questions Between Visits
If you have questions after your appointment, our team is available by phone at (209) 565-2332 or by email at info@valleyfootankleinstitute.com.
